This coverage is available if you need care anywhere in the world while on assignment, including the U.S. and your host country. Here are a few highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong> Regular full-time employees on an international assignment, along with their eligible dependents (spouse\/domestic partner and children to age 26, regardless of student status), are eligible for this coverage.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Automatic Enrollment:<\/strong> You and your eligible dependents are automatically enrolled in medical (including prescription drug) and dental coverage when first eligible. However, you must elect vision coverage.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Waiving Coverage:<\/strong> If you waive medical, dental, or vision coverage when you&#8217;re first eligible, you can actively enroll if you experience a qualified life event or during the Annual Enrollment period.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coverage Details: <\/strong>See the <a href=\"#popmake-2616\">chart<\/a> for covered medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision services, or visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aetnainternational.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.aetnainternational.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coverage Caveats: <\/strong>See the <a href=\"#popmake-2622\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">caveats<\/a> related to your medical and dental coverage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Log in to your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mdlzmybenefitsonline.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MyBenefits Online<\/a> account to see your current coverage elections and for additional coverage and carrier-related details.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tKEY FEATURES\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-0\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i title=\"Expand\">Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li><strong>Annual deductible:<\/strong> This is the dollar amount you pay for covered services each year before the Plan starts paying benefits.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coinsurance:<\/strong> Once you meet your deductible, the Plan pays a percentage of eligible expenses. The percentage you pay is called your coinsurance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wellness services:<\/strong> A deductible requirement doesn&#8217;t apply to services such as annual physicals, PAP smears, vaccines, mammograms, and colonoscopies.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prescription drug services:<\/strong> A copay applies for in-network generic and formulary brand name drugs. The Plan then pays the full cost of in-network covered services. When you go outside the network, the Plan pays a percentage of eligible expenses (no deductible is required).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vision services:<\/strong> The Plan covers routine eye exams and provides allowances for eyewear-such as glasses or contacts. You can opt to receive care from either in-network or out-of-network providers, regardless of whether you&#8217;re in or outside the U.S.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dental services:<\/strong> The Plan covers a broad range of dental services, including diagnostic and preventative care, basic and major restorative care, and orthodontia treatments (covered dependent children only).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Meeting the family deductible and out-of-pocket maximum<\/h2>\n<p>The annual family deductible and out-of-pocket maximum are cumulative, which means:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All covered family members&#8217; combined eligible expenses apply toward the deductible\/out-of-pocket maximum<\/li>\n<li>No one covered person in a family has to meet more than the individual deductible\/out-of-pocket maximum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\tABOUT THE NETWORK\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-1\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i title=\"Expand\">Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The network consists of doctors, hospitals, clinics, and other providers that contract to provide services at a lower negotiated price. You can go to any doctor in the network at any time, or you can see a doctor outside the network-it&#8217;s your choice. But remember, network providers agree to charge lower negotiated rates for covered services. As a result, the Plan pays a <em>higher level of benefit <\/em>for covered in-network services, and you pay less in out-of-pocket expenses.<\/p>\n<h2>Is your provider in the network?<\/h2>\n<p>To take advantage of in-network benefit levels, make sure your provider participates in the Aetna International network each and every time you need care (you don&#8217;t need specialist referrals).
