Already being pulled in multiple directions and trying to counteract the chaos? As you settle into 2026, here are two quick tips to keep it together when it comes to your health and welfare coverages and retirement benefits.

#1 Check Your Health and Welfare Coverages on MyBenefits Online

Log in to your account on MyBenefits Online to review your 2026 coverage elections, who’s enrolled, your contact preferences, and other helpful information.

CONTACT INFO & MOBILE APP

The MyChoice Benefits app connects you to the mobile version of your MyBenefits Online account, putting your health and welfare coverage information in the palm of your hand. Here’s how to download the app:

From MyBenefits Online: Once you’re logged in, select Access the App from the home page and scan the QR code (code is unique to you, so please don’t share).
From the Apple App Store or Google Play: Download the app (from the Apple App Store or Google Play) and enter the login information you created when you initially registered your MyBenefits Online account.

Log in to the Fidelity NetBenefits® website to review your 401(k) Savings Plan account, Health Savings Account (HSA), Health Care Flexible Spending Account (Health Care FSA), and/or Commuter Benefit Program account. The start of a new year is the perfect time to make sure everything looks the way you expect, and your information is up to date.

Health Bites

Form 1095-C Available Soon

Each year, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) requires MDLZ to provide you with Form 1095-C. This IRS tax form contains information about the medical coverage offered to you through MDLZ for the previous year—even if you waived coverage. Even though you don’t need to file your Form with your taxes, it’s a good idea to save it for your records.

The IRS’s distribution rules recently changed, so we’ll no longer be mailing paper copies of this annual Form (unless required by your individual state). However, your Form 1095-C will still be available electronically. To find your completed Form for this year, log in to your MyBenefits Online account, click your name at the top, and select Personal Documents. Form 1095-Cs will be available online beginning the week of February 23, 2026.

Did you know that RxSS can help you discover lower-cost options for the medications your doctor is prescribing? And, if you cover dependents, you could potentially save even more on their prescriptions too.

Age 50+ … New 401(k) Savings PLAN HIGHER CATCH-UP LIMIT NOW IN EFFECT

The Fall 2025 Edition of Quarterly Quick Bites highlighted a change that’s now in effect. If you’ll be age 60 to 63 at the end of 2026, you can contribute more in catch-up contributions to your 401(k) Savings Plan account.

REMINDER ... HOW MUCH YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE IN 2026

Regardless of your age, you can contribute up to the before-tax and/or Roth annual IRS limit—which for 2026 is $24,500.

If, at the end of 2026, you’ll be:

Age 50 to 59; or 64+: You can make additional catch-up contributions—up to the $8,000 before-tax/Roth annual IRS limit for 2026 (which means you can contribute up to $32,500 during 2026).
Age 60 to 63: You can make additional catch-up contributions—up to $11,250 (instead of $8,000)—which means you can contribute up to $35,750 during 2026).

Pat yourself on the back … it can boost your self-esteem

Taking time to appreciate yourself and celebrating your self-worth is important. When self-esteem is high, you have the courage to take on new challenges. Alternatively, when self-esteem is low, you may avoid trying something new or even speaking up for yourself.

RATE YOUR OWN SELF-ESTEEM

Answer “yes” or “no” to the following:

I feel good about myself.
I’m proud of my abilities.
I realize that I’m good at certain things and need to improve on others.
I’m okay if I win or lose.
I usually approach tasks thinking “I can do this.”
I look forward to learning new things.
I can handle when someone else is critical of me.
I don’t mind asking for help if I need it.
I like myself.

Did you answer “yes” to many of the above? If so, you’re on a positive track! If not, know that there are ways to strengthen your self-esteem.

HOW TO STRENGTHEN SELF-ESTEEM

If you’re hard on yourself and want to build up your self-esteem, consider these ideas:

Try a new activity.
List all the things you like about YOU (maybe you’re friendly, funny, or hard-working).
Quiet your inner critic and change your negative thoughts to something positive about yourself.
Try not to compare yourself to others—everyone has talents.
Set realistic goals.
Forgive yourself if you don’t achieve a set goal.
