{"id":120,"date":"2024-06-04T21:58:11","date_gmt":"2024-06-04T21:58:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mdlzbmr.com\/ptssr\/?page_id=120"},"modified":"2026-03-06T16:59:15","modified_gmt":"2026-03-06T16:59:15","slug":"new-hires","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mdlzbmr.com\/ptssr\/new-hires\/","title":{"rendered":"Newly Eligible"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t\t<h2>Newly Eligible<\/h2>\t\n<h2>\n\t\t\tAre you newly eligible for certain benefits and coverages\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>At Mondel\u0113z International (MDLZ), your health and welfare coverages and retirement benefits are designed to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strengthen your overall health and financial well-being.<\/li>\n<li>Support three well-being pillars at MDLZ-Mind, Body, and <strong>Connection<\/strong>-so you can be <strong>The Right You<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Be cost-effective for you and sustainable for the Company.<\/li>\n<li>Empower you to choose coverages and make retirement savings-related decisions that are best for you and your family.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a Part-Time Sales Service Representative (PT SSR), you&#8217;re considered &#8220;newly eligible&#8221; for certain coverages if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>During your first 12 months of employment you reach\u00a0a 30-hour a week average service requirement. If you do, you can enroll for certain coverages for the next 12-month period (coverages you elect begin on your first service anniversary date and continue until your second anniversary date, with the option to change your elections during Annual Enrollment).<\/li>\n<li>You reach a 30-hour a week average service requirement over a 12-month period pre-determined by the Company*. If you do, during the Annual Enrollment period you can enroll for certain coverages for the next calendar year (elected coverages take effect on January 1 and continue through December 31).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>If you&#8217;re a newly eligible PT SSR:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make your health and welfare coverage elections on <a href=\"http:\/\/mdlzmybenefitsonline.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MyBenefits Online<\/a> within 30 days of your initial eligibility date. If you don&#8217;t, your earliest opportunity to enroll may not be until Annual Enrollment.<\/li>\n<li>Make your 401(k) Savings Plan elections within 30 days of your eligibility date. By doing so, your elective contributions begin approximately the first pay cycle 30 days after your eligibility date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>*Each year, the Company measures which PT SSRs have met-on average-a 30-hour a week average service requirement during a specified measurement period. The specified measurement period is a 12-month look-back period that generally takes place from October to October. If it&#8217;s determined that you&#8217;ve met the 30-hour a week average service requirement during the look-back measurement period, you receive Annual Enrollment materials and can elect the coverages for which you&#8217;re eligible. Elections take effect for the following calendar year.<\/i><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mdlzbmr.com\/ptssr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2024\/06\/Blue-Divider.svg\" alt=\"Blue-Divider\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"0\" width=\"0\" title=\"Blue-Divider\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading='lazy' \/>\n\t<p><strong>You have 30 days to enroll<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Make your health and welfare coverage elections within 30 days of your eligibility date (your eligibility date is your newly eligible date), or during the Annual Enrollment period. If you don&#8217;t enroll by the deadline, you won&#8217;t have medical coverage, a Health Savings Account (HSA), or a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (Health Care FSA) for the current year or the next calendar year (if applicable)-unless you experience a qualified life event.<\/p>\n<p>Make your 401(k) Savings Plan elections within 30 days of your eligibility date. Once you do, you'll be able to view your online Benefit Summary. Review your coverage elections carefully.
