The EAP offers confidential counseling by a licensed mental health professional to help you or a household family member with stress (including work-related stress), anxiety, depression, marital/family relationship concerns, parenting challenges, addictions, and more.

Key features:

  • No cost for your or your household family member’s first five visits per topic each year
  • Third-party provided confidential services
  • Counseling in-person or through virtual therapy (virtual therapy includes meeting through text message, live chat, by phone, or video conference)

Find in-network EAP providers in your area with the online search tool. Once you select your appropriate MDLZ location from the drop down menu, you'll direct to the "Care Options" page. From here, select the "Counseling" tile to access the online provider search tool (the "Counseling" tile is also available on the "My Benefits" page).

Define and achieve your goals with the support of a coach. Coaching can help with personal improvement, healthy eating, weight loss goals, work-related stress, parenting challenges, sleep issues, and more. This benefit includes up to six sessions per calendar year via telephone or video conference with a Magellan professional coach. You and your household family members (age 18 and older) are eligible. Wellbeing coaching sessions are also considered separate from counseling, so the five-visit limit per topic each year applicable for counseling doesn't apply.

Key features:

  • Your coach helps you clarify your goals, identify obstacles that hold you back, and develop action-based solutions to achieve your goals
  • Wellbeing coaching is short-term, and the duration varies by individual
  • Meetings are regular with the same coach by phone or video
  • Coaching sessions last up to 45 minutes in length
  • Your coach serves as a guide, support, and even cheerleader as you set goals during the first session and make further progress in subsequent sessions

For more information and to schedule a coaching session, go to the Magellan Healthcare website. From the home page, select either the "My Benefits" or "Care Options" tile. Both pages include a "Wellbeing Coaching" tile. Select the "Wellbeing Coaching" tile to get started and schedule your coaching session.
