You can’t change your annual election mid-year, unless you experience a qualified life event that would allow for a mid-year change.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tHEALTH CARE FSA\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t A Health Care FSA allows you to reimburse yourself for eligible out-of-pocket health care expenses using before-tax dollars. For additional details about eligible expenses, see IRS Publication 502<\/a>.<\/p>\n You may elect to contribute up to $3,300 before-tax for 2026 (this is the contribution limit, even though the IRS’s annual contribution limit for 2026 is $3,400).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tDEPENDENT CARE FSA\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t A Dependent Day Care FSA allows you to reimburse yourself for eligible dependent care expenses-such as day care, after-school care, home care, and elder care-using before-tax dollars. If your union’s negotiated CBA allows you to participate, you can generally elect to contribute up to $7,500<\/strong> before-tax each year (or $3,750 if you’re married and filing taxes separately). Contribution amounts may ultimately be limited based on the nondiscrimination testing results (if you’re impacted, you’ll be notified).
