How to Make Your Elections

Health and welfare coverages

MyBenefits Online is your go-to resource for electing and making any necessary changes to your health and welfare coverages, including those during each Annual Enrollment. You can access MyBenefits Online 24/7. If you’re new to MyBenefits Online, here’s how to access and register your account.

  • Connect directly by going to www.mdlzmybenefitsonline.com:
    • Click Register under Don’t have an account?
    • Set up your username, password, and security questions.
  • Log in using your new credentials.

Once you’re logged in, click Start Here at the top of the home page and follow the prompts to enroll (if you’re making coverage elections). Or, select the “I Want To …” drop down and follow the appropriate prompts. Your MyBenefits Online account includes the coverages for which you’re eligible, as determined by your union’s negotiated collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Contact your union representative for a copy of your union's CBA.

401(k) Savings Plan

If your union’s negotiated CBA allows you to participate in the 401(k) Savings Plan, you can make your elections:

  • Online: By logging in to your account on the NetBenefits website.
  • By Phone: For personal assistance or to reach Fidelity via the Mondelēz International Retirement and Savings Plan Center, call 1-866-612-4582. Representatives are available Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Central Time).

When you can change your elections

The following rules apply:

  • The coverage elections you make generally continue through December 31 of each year. During the year, you can change most coverage elections only if you experience a qualified life event. See MyBenefits Online for details regarding qualified life events.
  • If you’re eligible for Long-Term Disability (LTD) coverage, you may elect or change your LTD coverage at any time throughout the year (including dropping coverage). But, to avoid having to provide Evidence of Insurability (EOI), you must enroll within your original 30-day enrollment window.
  • If you’re eligible for Optional Life or Supplemental Life Insurance coverages, you may elect or change your coverage if you experience a qualified life event (or during Annual Enrollment), though EOI may be required.
  • If you’re eligible to participate in the 401(k) Savings Plan, you may change your contribution and investment elections at any time. Log on to the NetBenefits website to make changes to your contribution rate, or to change your current and future investment elections.

Important

If you don’t enroll by the deadline, you won’t have certain MDLZ coverages for which you’re eligible (as determined by your negotiated CBA) for the current year. Depending on your CBA, this may mean you won’t have medical, dental, vision, a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (Health Care FSA), a Dependent Day Care FSA, and/or other voluntary coverages for the current year. Your next opportunity to enroll will be Annual Enrollment (for the next calendar year)—unless you experience a qualified life event, in which case you can enroll mid-year at the time of your life event. And, if your negotiated CBA allows and you want to enroll for LTD, Optional Life, or Supplemental Life Insurance coverages after your 30-day enrollment window, you’ll need to provide satisfactory EOI before the coverage takes effect.
